About IPM ToolBox
EUFAWREADY will develop an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Toolbox within Work Package 8. The toolbox, intended for farmers and advisers, will provide a comprehensive list of best practices on practical, safe, economic, and effective FAW management in the EU.
It will allow farmers to select the most economical and effective solutions tailored to their needs and will align with EU legislation on the sustainable use of pesticides, aiming to reduce environmental and human health impacts by decreasing reliance on chemical pesticides and promoting low-risk and non-chemical alternatives. These results will support the objectives of the Farm to Fork Strategy and the European Green Deal by decreasing the EU's dependency on chemical plant protection products.
